Introduction

Let me introduce myself. My name is Vorobey. I'm a solo developer with more than 9 years of experience in game and tools development. I always aimed to create a personal project, and I have had some unsuccessful attempts already. Those projects had more of a business approach and intended to make money only. But I was not satisfied with that. Instead, I wanted to create something unique, complex, and new. Virtunatia is that kind of a project, and it is difficult. It has a lot of new things to try, and it is one of a kind in general.

Blog

This blog is the project's development blog. I will share work-in-progress stuff, behind-the-scenes things, plans, news, and everything else project-related here. The schedule of new posts is not yet determined, but I will try to post here regularly and see how it goes.

What is it?

Virtunatia is a land of virtual nation as an MMO role-playing game where users as citizens build their country of dreams. They can own land, build cities, vote for their leaders and laws, manage and participate in the live economy, do a job or provide it with their own companies and production, work in government to help build a better society, and many more. It is a country simulation on a virtual land, an experiment as a role-playing game to see whether people can build a virtual society. I will share more details of the project later.
